As if you were in their chanclas.
I lead or have always managed from a very principled core.
With the basic tenent that I will treat others as I would like to be treated.
My Viejita always reminded us to put ourselves in another "chanclas".
She would say, "If what you say or do hurts you, it probably is going to hurt
the other person too.
She reminded us that words also were as serious a weapon,
as was a knife.
How just one cruel word could cut deeply and wreck someone's whole day.
We tend to go too long without using words that can heal or bless.
We could all use more healing, loving and respectful words.
Make it a great día!
