Cause happiness wherever you go...
We often believe we will might find happiness if we move far away, somewhere different or even meet someone special.
Yet we will never be able to run away from ourselves. We will always be in our own company and so it won’t matter where we might move to, who we could meet or what we could be doing. We must learn to give the precious gift of happiness, away.
The following Chinese proverb says it beautifully,
"If you want happiness for an hour - take a nap.
If you want happiness for a day - go fishing.
If you want happiness for a month - get married.
If you want happiness for a year - inherit a fortune.
If you want happiness for a lifetime - help someone else."
I had to smile when I read Oscar Wilde's quote on happiness. He said it best when he described the two types of people… which one do you want to be remembered as?
"Some folks cause happiness wherever they go; other folks cause happiness whenever they go."
Make it a feliz dia!
