The brave don't live forever...

The brave don't live forever, but the cautious don't live at all.  - Timothy Luce

Rodolfo knew that it was dangerous to continue to drive the streets of Juarez,

He knew that the sicarios had closed over 40% of all businesses in Cd. Juarez and that by continuing to run his prestigious university he also ran a high risk of being kidnapped or worse.

His family had even asked him to retire, knowing full well he had no plans to do so.

He would mention Zapatas's favorite quote... "It is better to die on your feet than live on your knees."

Saying that the bad elements would never make him a slave to their terror.

He would remind his wife and grown children that he did it for his students, his staff and for a more educated and better Mexico.

He did what had to be done regardless of the consequences.

Rodolfo paid the ultimate price.

He will be dearly missed.
