Grateful for TIME.
One of the hardest lessons I have had to learn along the way is
how to appreciate the essence of time.
How to truly value time.
Time much like the sand in an hour glass, never stops flowing.
Steadily moving with each grain of sand.. disappearing,
much.. like the breath you just took.
The same breath never to be yours again.
Time really is precious.
I found this in an old reader's digest with an unknown author by it:
To realize the value of ONE YEAR, ask a student who failed a grade.
or the value of ONE MONTH, ask a mother who gave birth to
a premature baby.
or the value of ONE WEEK, ask the editor of a weekly newspaper.
or the value of ONE HOUR, ask the lovers who are waiting to meet.
or the value of ONE MINUTE, ask a person who missed the bus.
or the value of ONE SECOND, ask a person who just avoided an accident.
or the value of ONE MILLISECOND, ask the person who won a
silver medal in the Olympics.
Sure put TIME in perspective... and made me appreciate it that much more.
Make it a timeless día!
